Hamish is a Liberal Party member, member of Strathmore Rotary, member of the Strathmore Bowls Club and he has volunteered for Relay for Life previously. He is an active and committed member of the community, passionate about issues affecting young people, families and the elderly.

He is conscious of the cost of living pressures facing families and conscious of supporting business owners with economic growth. He understands the need for Council to ease the burden with lower rates.

He believes that community safety and fixing footpaths must be a focus for Moonee Valley.

Hamish has lived his entire life in Moonee Valley. He grew up in Ascot Vale and now calls Strathmore home in the house he shares with his wife Catherine, their son Angus and their pet dogs Lucy and Delilah.

He is a local business owner and employer.
